Alien 5. We finally go where ”they” come from. Enough said!

You can blame Alien Covenant and Neill Blomkamp's concept art for Alien 5 for this xD. But this won't retcon Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection, they are still canon, because I really, really, really want hybrid Ripley to go to the alien homeworld, Xenomorph Prime, because of her special insight of the alien species. And have Ripley 8 to meet David 8, you know, both are 8s! Ripley wants to destroy the aliens, David wants to study them. ”The trick, Ellen Ripley, is not minding that it hurts.” David to Ripley :D . And neat way to connect the prequels and the main series.

Here's the fan cast with minor spoilers. Let's start from the top middle.

Ellen Ripley/ Ripley 8, played by Sigourney Weaver (Alien, The Defenders). Lots has happened since Resurrection. Ripley and Call became a members of a resistance group called the Vocal. They resist against USM's (United System Military) control of the colonies, giving shelter to autons like Call. Resistance is very familiar of the banned book ”Space Beast” written by Morse from Alien 3, giving resurrected Ripley almost deity status among the people and knowledge about the Xenomorphs. But the alien side of her takes more control of her day by day, making her more violent and vicious, getting visions of a mysterious ”red alien” behind her.

David 8, played by Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, Alien Covenant). David is an android, somehow he has survived 300 years after the disastrous Prometheus mission and machine uprising called the ”Recall”, becoming the leader of Rebel synths, fighting for freedom for all synths in the galaxy. They can't kill because of their programming, but they have found ”ways” around that fact.

Combat Android, skull face in the left corner. Combat androids or combat synths are one of the ”ways” that Rebel synths use to kill if necessary. Creepy, zombie like machines, very hard to kill, even without a head they will keep fighting to the bitter end. They were created in the private use of Weyland-Yutani corporation, even when they were illegal in most systems.

Rebecca ”Newt” Jorden, played by Juno Temple (Dark Knight Rising, Horns). I think British actress Juno Temple would be the perfect new Newt. She just looks like her, all grown up, blonde. Yes, she's somehow alive, raised by Ripley in the colonies. Newt doesn't know the truth about herself, only when she is forced to face the alien threat once again, she learns the horrifying truth about Fury 161 and how she is still alive.

Ron Johner, played by Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Alien Resurrection) If there's one character you have to bring back, that's Johner. Mercenary for hire. He and Newt have a strange friendship, Johner treats everyone else like shit, but never Newt. Showing sympathy or pity to her, because Johner is one of the few that knows truth about Newt.

Zion Knowles, played by Ruby Rose (John Wick 2, XXX 3: Return of Xander Cage) Australian Med-Tech, resistance member, part of Ripley's strike team.

Donald Draper, played by Erik LaRay Harvey (Luke Cage, Broadwalk Empire). Draper is resistance's sleeper agent working inside Core Engineering, USM sanctioned company. Draper helps Ripley's strike team to infiltrate the company for a secret mission.

Aurelio Cortez, played by Diego Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars story, Elysium). Hispanic Cortez is Vocal's expert of AI and supercomputers. He is part of Ripley's strike team.

Dr. Sonoda, played by Hiroyuki Sanada (Life, Wolverine). Dr. Sonoda is company man, part of Neo-Yutani, group that wishes to split Yutani corporation out from Weyland. Part of David 8's strike team.

Dwayne Hicks, played by Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens). Hicks is also mysteriously alive, trying to have relationship with Ripley, but struggle with USM takes all their time. He is also kept in dark about his existence, like Newt.

Fumiko 6, played by Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, La La Land). Fumiko is an sex android. Build in the image of Ms. Yutani, made for the rich and sickest clients. She has seen it all, worse of humanity. Fumiko joined David's revolution to be free from sex slavery. She quickly rose through the ranks and became one of David's most trusted lieutenants.

Ultramorphs vs. Engineers vs. Combat Androids. And yes, Ultramorphs from Alien: Engineers script by John Spaihts and Engineers and Combat Androids will fight each other.

I fully intend to read this at some point in the future, but there are some things I want to clear first. First off, I have a confession to make: I've never actually watched Alien: Covenant, Alien 3, or Alien Resurrection before. Didn't you say that your script for Alien: Visitation ignores Alien: Covenant? Also, if I should watch Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection first, which version of Alien 3 do you suggest, theatrical or extended?
